The Amaco Brent SRC is ideal for the hobby potter or for home and studio use. Its robust construction ensures durability, while the adjustable settings allow for precise control over slab thickness, accommodating various project needs. The SRC is a portable slab roller designed for small projects (not for production or schools).

Amaco’s patented cable drive system with opposing rollers produces even pressure along the bed.

Slab thickness can be changed by adding and removing shims. The SR-14 includes two 1/4″ shim with canvas and one 1/8″ plain shim. This method of adjustment helps create slabs with consistent, repeatable thicknesses.

SRC can be purchased with the leg assembly (shown), or without and be mounted on a table.

Cable Drive System

At the core of the SRC is Amaco’s patented cable drive system, which utilizes opposing rollers to apply even pressure across the entire rolling bed. This system helps eliminate uneven slabs and ensures uniform thickness from edge to edge, making it easier to achieve professional results with a wide range of clay bodies.

Precision & Repeatability

The SRC includes one 1/4″ canvas-covered shim, four 1/4″ plain shims, and one 1/8″ plain shim, allowing for a wide range of thickness options by adding or removing shims. This method provides excellent repeatability, making it easy to produce consistent slabs across multiple projects.

The SRC offers flexible installation options and can be purchased with the leg assembly (as shown) for freestanding use, or without legs for mounting on a sturdy table or work surface. When assembled with legs, the slab roller measures 40 inches wide by 51 inches long by 40 inches high, providing a comfortable working height while maintaining a manageable footprint.

Capable of producing slabs up to 21 inches wide by 40 inches long and up to 1.25 inches thick, the SRC is well suited for small to medium-sized ceramic projects.
