The Amaco Brent SR-14 Slab Roller is a durable, mid-sized slab roller designed for serious potters, small studios, and educational clay programs that require professional performance in a space-efficient footprint. Cable Drive System

At the core of the SR-14 is Amaco’s patented cable drive system, which utilizes opposing rollers to apply even pressure across the entire rolling bed. This system helps eliminate uneven slabs and ensures uniform thickness from edge to edge, making it easier to achieve professional results with a wide range of clay bodies.

Precision & Repeatability

Slab thickness is easily adjusted using a practical shim system. The SR-14 includes two 1/4″ canvas-covered shims and one ⅛-inch plain shim, allowing artists to fine-tune slab thickness by adding or removing shims as needed. This method provides excellent control and repeatability, helping users produce consistent slabs for tiles, handbuilt forms, and larger ceramic projects.

The SR-14 offers flexible installation options and can be purchased either with the leg assembly (as shown) for freestanding use, or without legs for mounting on a sturdy table or work surface. When assembled with legs, the slab roller measures 27 inches wide by 52 inches long by 40 inches high, providing a comfortable working height while maintaining a compact studio footprint.

Capable of producing slabs up to 14 inches wide by 36 inches long and up to 1.75 inches thick, the SR-14 delivers impressive capacity for its size. It is well suited for both functional and sculptural work.
