L&L Ceramic Element Holders
L&L Kiln's patented hard
ceramic element holders protect your kiln. The ceramic element
holder protects the soft fragile firebrick. Replacing elements
repeatedly does not damage the brick. Elements don't sag or fall
out of broken grooves. You do not need metal pins to hold elements
into broken grooves. Customers often say their L&L kilns look new
after 30 years of hard use!

DynaTrol Digital
The DynaTrol features
Dynamic Zone Control. It is like having three controls in one. The
DynaTrol separately measures temperatures in the bottom, middle and top
of the kiln and automatically adjusts the heat output of three separate
heating zones even as the kiln is heating up. Kiln temperatures are
automatically evened out to within 1/2 cone or better top to bottom.
There is no manual intervention with input switches. |
Quad Element Design
The Quad Element System provides a massively robust element for long life under production conditions. Standard on eQuad-Pro and JH Series. Optional on most other kiln series. |
|
Optional APM Sintered Power
Metal Elements
APM elements increase element life in difficult applications. It resists grain growth at high temperatures and has a very high hot strength.
|
Optional Vent-Sure Control
The vent control allows you to automatically control the operation of the Vent-Sure kiln vent with one of the
outputs from the DynaTrol or Genesis.
|
Optional Genesis Touch-screen Controller
Features: touch-screen for the user interface, easy-to-follow instructions, different user interface levels that can be set to match the user's firing knowledge, graphical display of the firing process, continuing use of decades of Bartlett expertise on kiln control.

Additional Features |
-
Temperature Rating: Cone
12, 2400°F, 1315°C -
Loading: Top Loading. Lid position, when open, rests at an angle away from the kiln. -
Hinge: Spring loaded for easy opening while still allowing lid to
be supported without supports that get in the way of loading. -
Stand: Heavy-duty 14 gauge full solid stand with multiple bends
for strength. Bolt on legs. Feet protectors included. -
Assembly: Two or three 9” high sections stack on top of each
other. Easy to assemble. Bottom is reversible. -
Construction: Stainless steel wrapped around shaped firebrick. There are three adjustable clamps welded to each casing. All assembly is with stainless steel screws. The kiln sections sit on a separate stand.. -
Insulation: 2-1/2" K25
firebrick, 3" Top. -
Brick Coating: A proprietary brick coating is applied to all interior surfaces of the kiln. This is put on before the element holders are inserted. This coating penetrates the firebrick and fuses the surface on a microscopic level which helps prevent dusting and crumbling of the fragile firebrick. -
Element Holders: Durability, Repairability, Better Heat Transfer. The smooth, hard surface of the inside ceramic channel allows the elements to expand and contract freely. No pins! The dense ceramic holders extend element life because they do not insulate the hot elements from the kiln interior. -
Quad Elements: The Quad Element System provides a massively robust element for long life under production conditions.
Standard on eQuad-Pro and JH Series. Optional on most other kiln series. -
Element Connections:
Proprietary all-ceramic element connection block makes
changing elements easy. -
Control Panel: All
controls and components are mounted in a separate control panel
that mounts to the element connection boxes. Cords from sections plug
into this
panel. The control panel is hinged for easy access and maintenance.
Control box can
be easily removed for servicing. On/off switch and control fuse are
included. -
Control: DynaTrol with 4 Easy-Fire programs, 6 Vary-Fire
programs, PreHeat, Delay, Program & Segment Review, and
Diagnostics. Two programs can be combined for one 16 segment
program -
Zone Control: Two control zones with two separate thermocouples. -
Peephole Plugs: Solid ceramic peephole plugs with full 1” diameter. Two total: one per section. -
Thermocouples: Type S Thermocouple in an Alumina Protection Tube (4.75" / 120mm) -
Relays: Mercury free
relays. -
Warranty: Limited Three Year Warranty (Note: The Element Warranty is modified for the JH Series - see the Warranty for details)
