Amaco Pearlescent Glazes (P)
Amaco’s New Pearlescent glazes bring subtle shimmer and dynamic movement to your work at cone 5-6. Pearlescent glazes are shimmery mattes with movement. These fluid satin glazes create a pearly sheen with subtle micro-crystalline effects that add depth and dimension to your work.
Pearlescent glazes are completely intermixable, offering endless possibilities for custom colors and effects. They can also be layered with other Amaco cone 5-6 glazes, including the Potter’s Choice series, to create even more surface variation.
Glaze Fire To: Cone 5 = 1186°C / 2167°F * – Cone 6 = 1222°C / 2232°F
Apply to bisqueware fired to Cone 04 = 1063°C / 1945°F *
*Firing temperatures are based on medium speed firings.
