Amaco (KI) Kiln Ice
Amaco’s (KI) Kiln Ice glazes are mid-range Cone 5-6 glazes that create a frosted, crystalline surface reminiscent of ice and snow. Their semi-translucent quality allows texture and form to show through, while the subtle surface variations add depth and character to each piece. Easy to apply by brushing or dipping, Kiln Ice glazes develop best on stoneware and porcelain, giving both functional and decorative work a cool, elegant finish.
