KilnMaster Controller The sealed touch pad,
shown above, is designed with single-function control buttons
that are grouped to make programming a snap. There are no
special codes to memorize—just follow the prompts. Because the
KilnMaster allows you to store programs, it is simple to recall
your stored program and begin the firing. A real timesaver.
Lid Lifter The New Lid Lifter makes
our 10 and 12-sided lids some of the lightest on the market. In fact you
can now lift them with just a finger. The lid brace has been redesigned
for added strength and now has 2 positions. The innovative Center Pivot
Design distributes the force on the lid across 2 points as opposed to
only one.
Optional KMT Touchscreen Controller
Like Your Smartphone the new KMT controller navigates with just a touch of a finger and allows us to guide you through programming with full sentences, helpful icons, and dynamic navigation. Built-in WiFi makes it possible to download any software feature upgrades for free so it is like having a new Kiln Controller for the life of the kiln.
Optional Easy View An Easy View is a simple wedge shaped
piece of powder coated sheet metal that simply angles the touch
pad out so it is easy to see and program. It is especially
helpful to people who own older Skutt models that had the touch
pad located near the bottom of the control box. It is very easy
to install without have to disconnect any wires. One size will
fit all full size KilnMaster control box.They are inexpensive
and can make programming much easier.
Optional Rolling Kiln
Stand
Skutt's rolling stands are constructed out of heavy duty, welded square tubing and fitted with high quality, locking polypropylene castors. Polypropylene wheels roll smoothly across the floor. They provide the recommended clearances from the kiln to the floor and many are adjustable in order to raise the loading level to a height that is comfortable for you..

or fragile pieces, you can't beat a Skutt KM-1018-3. This kiln gives
you nearly five cubic feet of capacity in a nice wide firing
chamber. Whether the task is delicate porcelain or heavy stoneware,
the KM-1018-3can take you all the way to Cone 10 using cone
equivalents or your custom designed Ramp/Hold program.
Skutt Kiln 2 Year Warranty
Skutt’s 2 year warranty is straight forward.
If you have a failed component on your kiln within 2 years
of purchasing it, we will fix it. We will pay parts AND
labor. Many of our full service distributors will even
repair the kiln on site. Due to the fact that it is possible
to exceed the estimated life of a thermocouple before the
end of the warranty period, thermocouples are the only items
we do not cover under our warranty.
