Kiln Overview

The Skutt Production Kiln (PK) line was designed to handle the rigorous demands of high-volume ceramic manufacturers and high-fire artists. The major difference between our standard and PK kilns is power—the power to fire dense loads to highfire temperatures without the kiln slowing down.

Skutt’s 2 year warranty is straight forward. If you have a failed component on your kiln within 2 years of purchasing it, Skutt will fix it. Skutt will pay parts AND labor.  Due to the fact that it is possible to exceed the estimated life of a thermocouple before the end of the warranty period, thermocouples are the only items we do not cover under our warranty.
