Material Overview

Grog is a hard-fired clay that is crushed to various mesh sizes. It may be added to clays for both tactile and visual texture. It will also aid in opening the body for drying purposes, reducing shrinkage, and to add ‘Tooth’ during the forming process.

Mulcoa grog is a light grey Mullite aggregate that has been homogenized by a unique process and Calcined in order to obtain maximum Mullite yield.
