PAPER CLIP TEST
 For testing your Electronic Controller

NOTICE: 
Be aware that while we are providing you information for testing the electronic 
components of your kiln CLAY-KING.com is in no way responsible for your safety. 
Please disconnect your kiln from the wall outlet until ready for testing.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Disconnect kiln from wall outlet.

Remove control panel from the front of the kiln.

Disconnect the RED and YELLOW wires (remember where they were connected for reconnecting later).

Open a paper clip and stick the ends into the same places you removed the wires from.

Plug in kiln.

If the display reads:

FAIL - the controller board is defective.  

ROOM TEMP - the thermocouple is defective.
