KilnMaster Controller
The sealed touch pad,
shown above, is designed with single-function control buttons
that are grouped to make programming a snap. There are no
special codes to memorize—just follow the prompts. Because the
KilnMaster allows you to store programs, it is simple to recall
your stored program and begin the firing. A real timesaver. |
Lid Lifter
The New Lid Lifter makes
our 10 and 12-sided lids some of the lightest on the market. In fact you
can now lift them with just a finger. The lid brace has been redesigned
for added strength and now has 2 positions. The innovative Center Pivot
Design distributes the force on the lid across 2 points as opposed to
only one. |
Optional Rolling Kiln
Stand
Rolling kiln stands are now
available for your Skutt kiln. These stands are made
specifically to fit each model and come fully assembled.
Constructed of heavy gauge, welded, square metal tubing, these
things are tough and stable. We use metal castors so they will
not develop flat spots when sitting in one place too long like
rubber castors. They also have wheel locks on all 4 wheels so
the kiln will not walk away from you when you lean into it to
load your kiln. If your kiln is located in your garage and you
want to tuck it away when you are not using it this is the
perfect solution. |

automatic electric kiln for high production, with nearly 10 cubic
feet of loading capacity. For those who fire the same program for
many loads, you need simply to load and start one of your six stored
programs, and go back to work on your next batch. The KilnMaster
will handle all the firing details with truly superhuman precision,
ensuring that you will get superb consistency, load after load. If
your 1227-3 is fitted with a kiln vent, you can plug all the
peepholes, program a Delay to start your firing at night, and be
there for shut-off and unloading the next morning. You get more
sleep, and much more production. Available in three phase models.

Skutt Kiln 2 Year Warranty |
Skutt’s 2 year warranty is straight forward.
If you have a failed component on your kiln within 2 years
of purchasing it, we will fix it. We will pay parts AND
labor. Many of our full service distributors will even
repair the kiln on site. Due to the fact that it is possible
to exceed the estimated life of a thermocouple before the
end of the warranty period, thermocouples are the only items
we do not cover under our warranty. |
