The Premier Model delivers power and professional performance at an affordable price. Designed for most studios or classrooms, this 1 hp wheel centers more than 300 lbs . of clay! A 14" wheel head is standard. All wheels are built on a heavy cast aluminum housing which is powder coated for ease in cleaning. This design integrates a large work surface with a newly designed removeable splash pan!

--The wheelhead and splashpan are easily removable by just lifting up and sliding the head off the shaft.

NOTE: This chart is not a graph of clay capacity, but a measure of the torque produced by each wheel. For potters wheels, torque is a measure of how well a motor rotates a mass of clay. The greater the torque, the more clay the wheel can turn (and the more force you can apply during centering/throwing) without causing the belt to slip or the motor to stall.
