Shimpo Model BX1813-D Electric Kiln

The Cone Art / Shimpo kiln model BX1813-D Kiln is often used in doll studios ,pottery studios, and classrooms.  It fires easily to a true cone 10.  It has double insulated walls with 2 ½ " premium brick plus 1" of block insulation.  If your artwork, school program, or studio does not require the heavy-duty extras of the double-wall series, then consider a ConeArt single-wall kiln.  They have the same premium materials and attention to detail as the double walled kilns, including easy access wiring, air-cooled wiring panel, premium firebrick, stainless steel jacket, welded stainless steel stand and a two-year warrantee. This double insulation saves approximately 30% in electricity cost and has a safer, cooler jacket.  Kanthal A-1 elements, stainless steel jacket and fitings, and excellent Cone Art craftsmanship are all standard.  The Bartlett electronic controller is mounted in an angled, easy view control panel for precise control.
