The e27
Kilns feature the most advanced electronic control on the market.
It provides five preset firing speeds, plus custom programming
capability for an almost infinite range of firing profiles. The
Cress E-control also includes a short temperature soak at the end of
each cycle for greater temperature uniformity with uneven loads.
All E-series kilns have 3-zone control capability, but are standard
with one zone. 3-zone is available at no extra charge at time of
order. The electronics are highly insulated for long life--
other features include safety master switch to protect from power
surges and a heat reflective bottom plate that greatly reduces floor
temperature during firing. The fan automatically starts and stops at
preset temperatures to protect ware from stress cracks and to decrease
cooling time. The E27 is a studio kiln designed for the
professional and the serious hobbyist-- it reaches cone 10
on 240/208v and can accommodate large runs of ware as well as large
sculptural work. Fits easily into the home or studio situation
and produces great results consistently.
